Lisa Symone

Lisa Walker Thomas is a writer, author, speaker, playwright and all around talent. Lisa studied Political Science and Industrial Psychology at Hawaii Pacific University for her Bachelors. Following that, Lisa spent two years in law school, focused on criminal law and social justice issues. It was at that time she determined the pen may be mightier than the courtroom noting words can effect change. Lisa has worked in public policy and has seen first hand how lobbyist pushed their agendas in order to further marginalize oppressed communities and minorities, having been exposed to it, she sought to put a voice to it—-which is why she writes with power and clarity.
